In a perl script I wrote for my boss, I added 3 lines of code... so I got rid of the 'not-defined' applications.
For those who do not know we're I am talking about...
I wrote a tiny perl script for the Win32 platform to scan the registry and create a list of installed applications and a list of ever used storage devices...
But... I wrote the code in the time and with equipment (because at home I don't have a Win32 machine) from my boss... So if you had read my
posting regarding a license purpose... you understand... that if they agree... I would release it
Update: I also found the registry keys to fetch the information regarding the Windows-version... So I am now implementing it

. I Also tested the script on a Windows 2003 system... and it also worked on that one
